Provides static and shared Ogg libraries and documentation. Ogg is a public domain, patent-free bitstream format. Ogg project codecs use the Ogg bitstream format to arrange the raw, compressed bitstream into a more robust, useful form. For example, the Ogg bitstream makes seeking, time stamping and error recovery possible, as well as mixing several separate, concurrent media streams into a single physical bitstream.
Binary packages can be installed with the high-level tool pkgin (which can be installed with pkg_add) or pkg_add(1) (installed by default). The NetBSD packages collection is also designed to permit easy installation from source.
The pkg_admin audit command locates any installed package which has been mentioned in security advisories as having vulnerabilities.
